UK Film Council films at Cannes and beyond
Here's a look at some of the UK Film Council-backed talent and films coming up in 2010, including those selected for Cannes and several other films in the pipeline. The booklet opens with a foreword by Chairman Tim Bevan and features Mike Leigh's Another Year (In Competition at Cannes), Hideo Nakata's Chatroom (Un Certain Regard at Cannes), Stephen Frears' Tamara Drewe (Out of Competition at Cannes), and Craig McCall's Cameraman: The life and Work of Jack Cardiff (Cannes Classics). Also featured are six other Lottery-funded films being promoted in Cannes (Brighton Rock, The First Grader, The King's Speech, Made in Dagenham, Neds, and Streetdance 3D), as well as details of almost 20 other films in the pipeline.
