We support export development through a number of different schemes and projects.
London UK Film Focus
UK Film Council supports the London UK Film Focus, a three day event held annually in June to showcase new UK films for some 180 international buyers.
International co-distribution agreements
We can help distributors to apply for prints and advertising support in countries that have signed a reciprocal co-distribution agreement with the UK to support the promotion and distribution of locally produce films in both countries. The UK currently has a co-distribution agreement with Korea. Find out more from the Korean Film Council and UK Film Council Distribution and exhibition department.
UK Film Council umbrella offices
We support UK exports and UK companies by setting up umbrella offices at international film events. In 2008 we will have umbrella offices at Sundance, Berlin, Cannes, Filmart, Pusan, Tokyo and Toronto film festivals and markets.
